Kodak Company a leader in document imaging and Silver Bullet Technology, a leader in Check 21 data and image tools, announced that Kodak is bundling Silver Bullet's Ranger API with its i6000 Check Scanners. Kodak i6000 Check Scanners convert paper checks into high-quality digital images. They are deployed in such consumer-facing environments as retail point of sale, bank teller lanes and in general back-office operations which are taking advantage of efficiencies gained from the federal Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act known as Check 21 that removed barriers to electronic check processing. Ranger allows clients to use virtually any item or check processing software with any check scanning hardware.

Kodak i6000 Scanner - Plug-and-play
Having a check scanning application that is virtually plug-and-play and instantly compatible right out of the box with other software used for item processing will help these customers grow easier and quicker in terms of upgrades to their systems," said Andy Lawrence, worldwide solutions business manager, Document Imaging, Eastman Kodak Company.
