Casio test photos from Amsterdam
We have had the Casio Exilim EX-V7 compact camera at our office for a long time, and we have made a lot of test shots in Amsterdam, among others. The new Casio Exilim EX-V7 was officially introduced at the start of 2007, and has been available quite recently. At the moment the Casio EX-V7 is the only line of Exilim camera with a 7x optical zoom lens. This is also its unique characteristic, as even with the 7x optical zoom, it maintains its slim, compact form. Additionally, the Casio Exilim EX-V7 has a CCD stabiliser system, and a new processor: the Exilim Engine 2.0. Casio is one of the pioneers of the digital camera market and is outstanding for integrating innovative image solutions in its compact cameras.

Although Casio Exilim EX-V7 is nice and compact, it is weighty enough that you could not easily carry it in your breast pocket. The high-quality camera body is built solidly. It is an amazing feat to equip such a small digital compact camera with a 7x internal optical zoom lens. If the Casio design team had to sacrifice image quality in order to achieve this can be read in the Casio Exilim EX-V7 camera's upcoming review report.

The Casio Exilim EX-V7 sample images were made with a full production model, and must be assessed accordingly. The thumbnail format and large format images are shrunk in order to show them in the right size and in order to guarantee faster upload rates. The original images are the unedited images. The new Casio Exilim EX-V7 is one of the digital compact cameras nominated which will soon be tested. At the moment we are already testing a few cameras and we will publish a full test report on the Casio Exilim EX-V7 as soon as we are finished with the model.
