BenQ introduces their new 7 Megapixel digital compact camera: BenQ DC E720. The BenQ E720 features a 7 Megapixel CCD image sensor, 3x smc Pentax optical zoom lens and a large 2.5-inch LTPS LCD monitor for clear and comfortable photo viewing. The BenQ DC E720 camera supports high sensitivity (ISO) up to 1000 ISO to ensure clear photos in dark environment. Furthermore the new BenQ 720 captures photos in two modes, 3:2 resolution mode or 16:9 wide mode. The 3:2 standard mode is convenient for easy printing without trimming the edges of the composition. The wide 16:9 mode is the perfect mode for direct display on a 16:0 television set. Price or availability of the BenQ DC E720 compact camera has not been announced yet.

BenQ DC C1000

BenQ today announces the BenQ DC C1000, successor to its C800, featuring a 10.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, 3x optical zoom, a large 2.4-inch TFT LCD display for clear and comfortable photo viewing. The BenQ C1000 comes with an extensive range of user- friendly modes which includes P/A/S/M mode, 8 second shutter speed night scene mode, quick 4 continuous shot mode and printer mode, delivering an impeccable image quality. The BenQ DC C1000 supports VGA movie recording at 30fps with MPEG4 format and supports PictBridge function which provides direct printing via any PictBridge-enabled printer. In addition, the BenQ DC C1000 compact camera is bundled with 24MB built-in memory and is Secure Digital card compatible.
