The Epson Perfection 4180 Photo has a class leading 4800 x 9600dpi optical resolution, enabling users to make beautiful enlargements from both photos and film. The scanner has excellent film scanning capabilities thanks to the built-in film adapter that handles multiple film formats. It can scan up to 12 x 35mm frames, up to 4 x 35mm mounted slides and up to 1 x 12cm 120/220 medium format film in one pass. The built-in film adapter scans multiple types of film, allowing users to easily scan negatives to produce high quality enlargements or archive film. In addition the scanner has an optional auto document feeder, which can handle 4.5 pages per minute.
