If there is one segment of today’s consumer and business electronic devices that is changing, then it is the mobile phone. It has already changed our way of communications, the way we do business or stay in touch with our friends and family. Of course the integration of social media platforms increases the hours spend with a mobile device like today’s smartphone. And the integration of editing software for mobile imaging makes the camera in a smartphone to become a more enjoyable and interesting one. Shooting a shot, and having access to a variety of accounts like Facebook, Twitter and Flickr gives a mobile imaging photographer a worldwide platform where he can show his work of art or just his snap shots. And let us not forget the very successful online platform from Apple; the App store. A platform where developers meet the consumer and a powerful marketing and communication tool for all. The Apple store is the most successful one, others follow or are already active. Photokina 2010 will share the latest mobile imaging news with you, live from Germany!
